Amanda Vanstone pens her own national song - the beginning of the end

Okay, it isn't reggae (thank goodness), but I couldn't just let this pass. Amanda Vanstone, former Immigration Minister has penned her own song.

Look Amanda, there is a reason you were sent to the back bench recently and that is because you are an idiot. Whether or not we need another new national song (we clearly don't - we have plenty) isn't the case. IF we did need one, you would be the last person who would write the track.
Politicans are not song-writers and this particular politician has a history of acting in opposition to the feeling of a lot of the Australian public. I am confident this song will never be taken up - she used the same music as that of Land of Hope and Glory for goodness sake! She couldn't even get someone to come up with something original. This just reminds me of a dodgy radio segment: "make up your own words to the music of an old anthem".
I am happy she didn't sing it herself though.
Of course there is the conspiracy theory connected to this. There has been suggestion Vanstone will be offered an Italian diplomatic job soon now she has been sent to the back bench and this anthem may convince people to call for her leave our shores!
