The Brag have fucked up
November 27th 2006 04:54
I would be a little bit more annoyed had I paid for this ad in the Sydney street press Brag, but nonetheless, I am still a little annoyed.
I submitted gig details for the skorcher weekender to the gig section of brag last week. It came out today and looking through it to see if my listing had made it, I was pissed off to find that they have stated the boat will leave Man O' War steps at 5 pm, when it should read 3 pm.
The boat on Sunday leaves at 3 pm from Man O' War steps for those coming along. If you want to buy tickets I suggest you get down there at 230 pm to purchase them.
So what annoys me is all that was needed was to copy and paste what I had sent them, but no, they decided a bit of artistic licence was needed. It's not like a normal gig where you can turn up late and still catch some bands. If people come at 5, they aren't going to find a boat waiting for them!
There's a reason I paid to advertise in Drum and not Brag. Drum take more care not to fuck up and people actually read Drum. Anyway, come on the cruise and to the other gigs.
