The Currency and Signals on Thursday night at the Sando
January 23rd 2007 03:48
We (The Signals) are playing with a fantastic celtic punk band from Melbourne called The Currency on Thursday night. The venue is the Sando, on King St, Newtown as you head towards St Peters.
I first saw this band late last year in Melbourne. They are fantastic - their energy is quite something and comparisons to Flogging Molly aren't so off the mark. They include former members of The Living End and Mutiny and have a mandolin and fiddle as well as your normal punk rock lineup.
Doors open at 8 pm and we'll be on 8-30 pm sharp. The first 50 people through the door get a free Currency CD.
