Lee Scratch Perry in Australia - is it actually the last time this time?

I have never gone to see Lee Perry. I think the man is (or at least was) an absolutely wonderful producer, but as a singer, there isn't anything I really love by him. Bathroom Skank was an okay track I suppose. Anyway I just have little interest in seeing him.
He has clearly smoked too much too. He is mental, as seen in this video:

And I am told many of his gigs involve him wandering around on stage mumbling under his breath. No thanks - not at 100 bucks a pop.
But as I posted a couple of days ago, he is coming back to Australia.
I am a little surprised by this, seeing as though the last time he was here the tour was promoted as Lee Perry's last tour to Australia!!
Now for me this technique is simply used to sell more tickets. If I thought, "I love this guy, there is a big chance I won't get to see him again because he isn't coming back, I will go" and then he just staggered about mumbling THEN came back next year, I would not be especially happy.
He is playing festivals, so I am not going anyway, because I don't like festivals and can't afford festivals. That being the case, I still think it is a little dodgy he is coming back at all.
With that in mind, there would be artists where I would forgive this kind of action because I love them.
Another rant over...
