All band confirmed for Skorcher: The Sydney Weekender

I am quite pleased to say all the bands for the Ska, Reggae, Mod and Skinhead Weekender we are putting on in Decenmber. It's called Skorcher and runs for three days at a number of Sydney locations. Eight different bands will take part in the weekend plus a host of DJs. They are a mix of Sydney bands with a couple from Melbourne and it's set to be a pretty good time.

Friday Dec 1st. 45 RPM @ Bar HQ
DJs spinning ska, reggae, mod, soul, sixties r&b and garage on vinyl only.
Saturday Dec 2nd. The Empire Hotel, Annandale.
The Ska Vendors (Vic)
Upbeat traditional ska and reggae band from Melbourne. Second time in Sydney, these guys know how to get a crowd dancing.

Well known Sydney 2-tone band
The Booby Traps
Sexy sixties garage from Sydney.
The Get Set
Eighties Sydney mods coming back to do some favourite covers. Members hand picked to ensure they still look good in a skinny man's suit.
DTS
Sydney mod/britpop band who have been a part of the popular mods mayday gigs.
The Resignators (VIC)
Young Melbourne Ska and Reggae band with plenty of spunk. Part of their first NSW tour.
Sunday Afternoon Dec 3rd. Skabour Cruise. Leaves Man O' War Steps 2 pm.

Complete Madness
The Madness cover band who had a big following in Australia and New Zealand and only ever return for one gig every year.
The Signals
Sydney rocksteady, reggae and ska. Mixing up sweet soulful songs with some more upbeat tunes for you dancing pleasure.
