Sydney Punk, Ska and Reggae Show
August 17th 2006 13:33
Although many will claim there has been plenty going on in Sydney in terms of reggae, for those that grew up in the Sydney ska scene (where many of the bands also played reggae songs), we know it has been one of the quietest times in recent memory.
Enough of that then. The Signals are back with a sound to soothe the soul and to make dancing feel like the most natural thing you could ever do. Okay I am bias, but the band hasn't played for some months now and neither has Backy Skank, a Sydney favourite. Steppin' Razor are winning news fans all over the place and Kampei are the hardest working band in Sydney. Then there is Randell Blair from Canberra and Jed Temple playing a bit for of the folky side of things.
All this in one of the best ska pubs Sydney has known. Come along nice and early. For six bands it is just eight bucks! 8 pm start.
